Autumn is here and I love decorating the house according to the season. A paper leaf wreath was the perfect addition to my Autumn decor. It is a very simple and inexpensive craft!
Supplies
- Straw Wreath (I got mine from Michael’s for only $1.99)
- Print Candee Leaf and Acorn Printouts
- Wire or Straightened Christmas Ornament Hooks
- Ribbon
- Tape
- Scissors
Use your scissors to cut out your leaves. I used leaves and acorns from the Thanksgiving Dinner set and Autumn Happy set. I then straightened out some ornament hooks and taped my leaves to them.
Take your straw wreath form and place the ribbon on it first. Then begin to poke the wire or straightened hooks in the wreath around the ribbon. Spread out your leaves and place them in different directions.
That is it. See? Very simple!
And you end up with a beautiful decoration for your door or window.
Until next time,
Beth
