The baseball theme is an American Classic, so red, white and blue all the way!! I am so excited to share these details with you. This birthday collection from Print Candee was fantastic! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT! I frequently use printables as a jumping off point because it helps get my juices flowing. So, with a sweet boy in mind and fun printables ready, I got to planning the details.
This baseball party was not only fun, but I was honored to be part of the celebration. The party was for an 8 year old boy that had never had a real birthday party. Oh, my goodness. You may already know that I am a huge birthday fan (duh)!!. I think that everyone should be celebrated on their birthday!! It’s the one day each year that it’s all about you. So, I may go over the top…occasionally, but it’s because I think it’s important! So, to be planning a party for a sweet 8 year old that had never had a party was so cool.
The kid table was quite easy and inexpensive. I used the sign from the printable set to anchor the table. I simply filled a bucket with peanuts and added a 3” circle to the front of the bucket and a coordinating ribbon and the centerpiece was done. To add a little whimsy, I used 12 x 12 grass scrapbook paper as placemats.
Treats & Prizes
The treat and prize table was started with a giant scoreboard backdrop. What would a baseball theme be without Cracker Jacks? Two more must haves? Big League Chew gum and popcorn. This treat table nearly set itself with all of the must haves. Of course, we had some Baby Ruths and Classic Coke in glass bottles. I found the cutest little piggy bank, that I knew had to make its way into the party. The full sized candy bars with the custom Dominic baseball wraps were a huge hit. Dominic thought it was so cool that the candy bars had his name on it. We also add some additional baseball themed trinkets for the kids to win during the games. At the end of the party, each kid took a full bag of goodies home.
